MedERP
Coming to the App Store

Your MedERP records.
A conversation away.

Ask ChatGPT about products, stock, sales, and partner balances. Set up the MedERP connection on the web, then use it in the ChatGPT app on your iPhone.

You’ll need access to the MedERP plugin in ChatGPT.

If it hasn’t been shared with you, ask the plugin owner or your workspace administrator. This guide doesn’t install the plugin or grant access to it.

Start setupAlready connected? Manage access

1. Install MedERP in ChatGPT

Open ChatGPT in your browser. Use the account and workspace you want to use on your iPhone, then open Plugins.

  • If MedERP was shared with you: open the shared plugin or find it in your workspace’s plugins, then install it. Your workspace administrator may need to allow it.
  • If you created the plugin: look under Personal → Created by you, open MedERP, and install it for your account.
Open ChatGPT plugins (opens in a new tab)

Can’t find MedERP? Ask the plugin owner for access or contact your workspace administrator before continuing.

2. Choose the companies ChatGPT can read

Open your MedERP connection settings and sign in to MedERP. Choose Sign in with ChatGPT if prompted, using the same ChatGPT account as in step 1.

Check the two accounts shown, select the companies you want to share, and approve access. For each selected company, owners, administrators, and staff can optionally enable “Allow adding product notes.” Viewers have read-only access.

Choose company access

Company access for 30 days

ChatGPT can read approved company records. If you enable product notes for a company, it can append information to product-family notes while preserving existing text. It cannot change prices, stock, transactions, or company permissions. Connecting or updating access starts a new 30-day period.

3. Open ChatGPT on your iPhone

Sign in to the ChatGPT iOS app with the same account and workspace. Start a conversation, select MedERP from the available plugins, and ask a question.

Try your first question

Use MedERP to show my inventory summary. Ask me which company if I have more than one.

Choose MedERP in ChatGPT before sending this question.

MedERP’s hosted connection handles the request. The MedERP native app doesn’t need to be running, and you don’t need to download a plugin ZIP to your phone.

You control the connection

Review the approved companies, product-note permissions, and expiry date in MedERP’s ChatGPT connection settings. Existing read-only connections stay read-only until you explicitly allow product notes and save access again. To stop future reads and product-note additions, choose Disconnect. Information already shared remains in your ChatGPT conversations.

You can also review and disconnect access from Settings → ChatGPT in the MedERP native apps.

If you get stuck

MedERP doesn’t appear on my iPhone

Check that the ChatGPT app uses the same account and workspace where you installed MedERP. Make sure your plugin is available to that account and isn’t marked Desktop only. If your workspace restricts plugins, ask its administrator for access.

ChatGPT says MedERP isn’t connected

Open connection settings and refresh the status. Verify the ChatGPT account shown, the approved companies, and the expiry date. If access expired, review your company selection and approve a new 30-day period.

I can’t see a company

Sign in to the MedERP account that has access to that company. Complete authenticator verification if requested. Company access must be granted in MedERP and selected for the ChatGPT connection.
